Expectations of an Ebay Coin seller.

Though most certified pieces sell in the wholesale greysheet bid-ask range, sellers are expected to give retail service to their customers. Sellers are expected to accept Paypal payments and offer a return privilege. Those are fine, but what about the slow payers. Many on this forum believe that non paying alerts are issued too quickly and the seller should take the time to phone the absent payer. How much is truly expected in a wholesale marketplace?

i know that is not your question but hope you don't mind my chime...
<< <i>Even if most certified pieces sell in the wholesale range, I doubt if they were acquired for anywhere near that amount; thus, expecting good service is reasonable. Additionally, very few ebay dealers give good service compared to their non-ebay counterparts. >>
Not a great assumption, in legitmate certified holders, the margins are very slim.

Like most dealers I know, I would love to know where I can buy quality certified coins for less than wholesale.
With the exception of the occasional rip, anyone who believes that such prices are possible for quality coins has never tried to buy such coins for such prices at a major show where the competition is the most fierce. Dave W
