funny how many people think it means "almost uncirculated" I catch myself saying it too, but it really means "about"

Well it does matter from one end of a spectrum to another... not that I'm complainin', mind ya. But there is a difference from what one thinks is AU and what is.

About means around, could be a bit more or a bit less. Almost clearly means a bit less.
AU means LESS THAN Uncirculated ALWAYS
ALMOST $100 means LESS THAN $100 ALWAYS
but
ABOUT $100 could mean $98.50 or $101.86
ALMOST is the proper term
