This doubled die is probably going to go in the record books as being the biggest find of the decade in Lincoln cents. It is probably also the first to see such wide dissemination and publication in such a short period of time. I received the coin on the 14th - three days ago. As of today:

It has been published on coppercoins.com as 1982P-1DR-001 and has a space reserved in two books.

CONECA has listed it using my photos as DDR-001, and will have it in the next issue of ErrorScpoe.

NCADD has listed it using my photos as WDDR-001, and will write and publish an article about it in the next issue of The Hub.

Billy Crawford has listed it in his system as CDDR-001, and will be publishing the photos in his next online issue of Die Variety News.

J.T. Stanton has listed it using my photos as FS 1982-01-801, and will be using the photos in the next edition of the Cherrypickers' Guide.

It will be published in the next journal (October) of the Society of Lincoln Cent Collectors.

Bill O'Rourke of "Found in Rolls" from Coin World is using my images in a Coin World story to be published within two weeks.

Dave Harper of Numismatic News has my story and photos on his desk, and will try to get it in the next issue which goes to print Thursday.

Needless to say, this is indeed a big find. My congrats to the finder, Richard J. Ziegler from Massachusetts.

GREAT doubled die! And it's just unbelievable that it went 25 years without being discovered. My congratulations to the discoverer as well.
