How to return something to Taiwan with a tracking number?

I bought a computer-related tiem on Ebay from a seller in Taiwan and it doesn't work. We're in the middle of a Paypal dispute. Paypal says to return the item using a method with a tracking number. It's a $50 item, so I'm wondering if there's some cost-effective method of shipping it back?

I think for fifty dollars, I'd take it to the Goodwill and trade it up !

I hate to say it, but I'd eat the cost of the item and just give appropriate feedback.
