    I have been outbid.

I wanted it because it's soooo shiny.

Plus I need to stock up on 68s for investment purposes. image

  • Quating the seller

"Per ebay Policy I can list this coin as an MS68 since it's slabbed and rip off whoever buys this 15.00 coin for anything other than an AU and probably cleaned as well and that's OK."

Seller states the coins is a $15.00 coin, with 5 days 22hours to go the bid was at 19.09 + 4.35 s/h.....

must be good plastic the coin is in and good plastic used to buy it....lol

I think he takes photos with a camera phone. I have bought 1 morgan toner from him and I was happy with it. Don't remember what coin it was though.

I don't know if he's a forum member, but over on the eBay coin forum he's a very vocal opponent of crap slabs.

  • Maybe they were blinded by the... ULTRA HIGH GRADE GEM PPQ++ Coin that was in front of them

The term "certified" means a lot more than just "I certify that this coin is blah blah blah"! And I think that is what EBay is attempting do.

Certainly you can sell a Coin World Slabbed coin with your grade interpretation but you just can't mark it or market it as "certified".

This one may go bye bye before too long.
