  i just use warm water and a cloth. Probably not the most efficient method but it works.

  I've also found that just rubbing it with my finger in one direction will cause it to roll up into a line, which is then easily picked off of the slab.

  repeatedly tap the residue with the sticky side of the sticker you just took off, this works very well.

  Nose grease. Rub your finger against the side of your nose to get it oily and rub it against the sticker residue. Then, buff the surface with a clean cotton cloth.

  I cannot help but wonder why anyone would want to collect coins in slabs, replete with a disgusting mixture of Goo Gone, WD-40, peanut butter, tooth paste, and 'nose grease' smeared all over them.

  Dab a paper towel with a little cooking oil.. cheap and effective. The newer slabs are water tight so them wash with a little soap and water on a paper towel to remone the oil residue.

  THORO spot remover works well, and will not soften the holder (unlike acetone). THORO is an organic solvent (mostly naphtha, or petroleum ether) that is flammable. It should be available in any big supermarket.

  I recommend a hammer, but if you have some strange reason to keep the slab, then hexanes.

  I prefer Goo Gone over WD-40. It works better and it smells better.

  I just keep rubbing till it comes off. Like someone else stated, a small dab of WD-40 works also.

  A little dab o hexanes on a Kleenex or UNUSED TP is the best there is. EOS.
