  There are 27 die marriages described in Jules Reiver's Variety Identification Manual for RE halves. The manual is quite difficult to use even when coins are in-hand since it lacks images, however, Heritage has reproduced the manual on their site and you can access it through looking at any RE half auction lot.

  Go to the Heritage auction archive and search the '37 RE halfs. See if you can find a match. Many of the auctions have the coins attributed. I wouldn't trust the attribution 100% but it would at least give you a starting point.

  RE halves, along with regular busties have an enormous number of varieties with die cracks. In my quest for unc RE halves it seems that more specimens have die cracks than don't.
