Cool Flea Market Find

My wife, son, and I were at the local flea market this morning, when I noticed a baseball bat leaning up against an old mans table. I picked it up and checked it out. Much to my surprise, it was a Danny Klassen Arizona Diamondbacks Game Used Bat. It had a #7 on the top of the bat and the #7 and bat measurements on the knob. I remembered him because my Dad is a D-backs fan. I was thinking, this guy probably wants upwards or $100-$150 for this. So I say, "whatcha gotta have for the bat?" He says "you can have it for a dollar, I've been keeping it behind my front door for unwanted guests" Needless to say, I now have a game used bat from a major league ball player, and it cost me less that the Coke I had 5 minutes after I bought it. For those of you who don't know who he is, a link is below:

image Nice story, thanks for sharing. I don't know to much about Baseball, is this a rare item? Either way I think its a cool story and I would never sell it anyway but just was wondering if it had a high value to it? Just curious, like I said I would have kept it being that I went out with my family and picked it up and so on. Thanks again for the great storyimage

This is now the official Duke of Hazzard thread. I was going down the road the other day and saw a General Lee on a trailer. I got a picture of it with my phone, but can't get the picture transferred to my computer. Here is picture of my son next to the real star of the show at a local festival.

  • I remember seeing those episodes of Andy Griffith Randy, he played a guy called "Jim Lindsey", and you're right, he was good! Thats a good pic frankhardy, I bet that is in Nashville at Dukesfest, if so, I was there and it was awesome, especially when the stunt guys took that restored General Lee and jumped it!!! Mike, everyone says I look like im 14, I'm actually almost 27. Sometimes I get carded to see rated R movies. It kinda sucks, but I guess I'll appreciate it more when I get older. Anyways, back to the bat, I just thought I'd share that story with you guys, because those deals are still out there indeed. Hey, it's not an Arod bat, but what the hey, I'll buy major league game used bats all day long for a dollar!!!!
