how do you post pics using photobucket?

  • Get a free account at www.photobucket.com. Upload your images there and then link to them. (In the Reply To Message window it's the "picture" icon.)

    Edited : correcting bad typing

I just did this for the first time last night. Goto photobucket.com get youself a free account (there are some annoying ads - but hey it's free) and upload your picture to there. After doing this you will have an "album" on photobucket. At the photobucket site when viewing the album, under each piture, the second box down there will be a little box that says direct link. Click on that and the link will be copied to your clip board. When composing you message here click on the 4th button (looks like a framed picture) above where you type your text. This asks you for the url to link your picture. Hit shift-insert and this will paste the url into your text. Hit preview to see it. You photo along with your text will show up in a new window or tab entitled "preview message".

If you copy the bottom box under your picture you can paste it right into your thread. No need for the picture frame thingy, just copy and paste.

A little off topic but maybe of interest to some.

Photobucket comes in really handy for sharing your pictures.

After a family event I just upload the pics to a new folder and send the link via email.

People can take what they want and leave the rest.

I also did this after the office Holiday party and by leaving out certain pictures I got a raise and a better parking spot.image

duck620 , why don't you edit the thread title to how? pics.
