Has Heritage lowered limit for CC auction payment ?

Before going on-line to place bids for the Long Beach Heritage auction, I noticed the auction catalog states only $ 1000 may be charged by credit card for winning bids . At the FUN auction the credit card limit was $ 10,000 . When did Heritage start this ?

HA limits dealer use of credit cards, but not collector use...in my experience.

It is stated in terms of payment section.... This will cut my bidding by 70 - 80 %

I just picked a random lot and clicked terms and conditions. #23 still says $10,000 CC limit from non dealers.

This was a typo in our most recent Terms and Conditions. The limit remains $10,000.

Just need to now not hide the other payment options at check out. Looks like only eCheck is available online. It's easy to miss the Show Other Forms of Payment link. Of course, that is probably the intention since it would be Heritage's preference.

Interesting. I paid a $1200 invoice by CC from an auction win back in January. Is this a new term?
