Cable Company took my ESPN Classic Away!

My cable company moved ESPN Classic to the next (i.e. you have to pay more) tier. This is something I really looked forward to after a hard day's work. They show alot of the great old boxing fights plus the "Ringside" biography series, and some great vintage "60 Minutes" sports interviews. They yanked it without warning and amazingly it's the only channel out of about 3 trillion they moved. If they move it up yet another tier it would be cheaper to pay Roger Staubach come to my house and let ME interview him. This corporate greed is out of control.

<< <i>Do you have Comcast by the way ? >>
Brighthouse, which I THINK bought out Comcast here awhile back--I can't keep track anymore.
<< <i> Now there is big up roar because they will not add the Big Ten network. >>
That's the same here in Pittsburgh also. You can only get the Big ten network if you have Direct TV or I guess the Dish
ESPN Classic is kind of hit or miss. Got home from work this week, stretched out on the couch and watched the '71 Series. Now that was COOL.
They've also been playing classic college football games. Again, very COOL.
Can do without the American Gladiators.
Have you raised hell with your provider?
All-in-all, it'll cost $5.00 more per month, but if it means anything (which I'm not sure about), we do now get ESPNU.

I agree though. Every month I want to send my cable company a pipe bomb instead of a check but Tonya wont let me

I did. We cuddled, spooned, gently sobbed, spoke of our deepest hopes & fears. I awoke alone except for a cable bill taped to a sad teddy bear. The horror, the horror...
same way with me killingdream,i pay about 140.00 i think for cable modem and every chanell on tv that suddenlink has here,it used to be charter till suddenlink bought em out here in wv last year, ihad to change my email address on 2,000 auction, not fun, they beter not do it again, was the same time postage went up to ,so i had to do both at the same time- i watch dexter and masters of horror on one of the showtimes in the fall, the rest of the time cartoons or something!my back is always to the tv anyway so i hardly ever see it till i got to bed and watch tv all night when theres 5 people on here left!i can tell ya about every episode word for word of mash and andy griffith though!

I hear ya!!!
I called the same morning!
It turned out great tho - I was paying alot of $ for the services I got.
Now I have a digital dvr box, more channels and for less money!!!
It pays to whine - sometimes.

They gave me the same thing that ATT has - so the 3 services are 99$ per mo. no including tax - and the cable TV I have now is better than before.
So, I agree - tell them you want to cancel and find a better deal - tell them about ATT's pick 3 out of 4 for 99 bucks - the four they offer: home phone, cell phone, tv and internet.

<< <i>I agree- DirectTV has been the best pay TV I've had in terms of reliability and customer service. >>
cannot agree more. plus comcast is the devil -- and I have to have my NFL Sunday ticket!
