What should I do? (eBay problems)

I sold a coin on eBay and the auction ended on July 29. The buyer never responded to my numerous emails requesting payment, so I opened a non-Paying bidder dispute. A week later, I closed it so I could get my Final Value Credit, and it was awarded to me. I relisted the coin on Thursday, and it will be ending on Sunday. Today, I got a check in the mail for the coin. He never contacted me after the auction or anything. Also, for the auction, I didn't accept checks as a payment method. Any help would be appreciated.

Return the check with a note that he's too late.

I would do what Russ says, but the whole time want to do what Golden Eye says to do. Buyer is a Bat Fastard!

I actually had one of these not long ago. Buyer ignored all invoices and the NPB process. Then after the coin had already been relisted, sold, and shipped to the new buyer, he decided to PayPal payment. I refunded the payment with a note. A couple weeks later this turd marked the auction as "paid" since it has to show paid in order to leave feedback, and then proceeded to neg me. The rating was removed since he hadn't responded to the process, but the comment remains. I gave serious consideration to retaliating since there isn't a damned thing he could do about it.

So if I never mark the item as paid, he can't leave feedback? I don't want to get negged.

He can mark it as paid himself and post the feedback. That's what the buyer above did to me.

I have a roll of war nickels that some guy bought a while ago .... It's under $30. I wrote twice, maybe thrice. Don't much matter, though. It really ain't no skin off my nose. It's a write-off. It cost money and I have it stuck in my inventory. Perhaps I should file a non paying bidder report, but I've been stiffed for hundreds in my life. I had me Identification stolen, robbed, beat up... What's $30 ?

    Pffffffffffffffffftttttttttttttttttttttttt

Send him the coins, cancel the auction and leave him a good feedback. Some old people are slower than me.

Cash the check and send him a different coin...he'll likely never notice the difference! image

As soon as the buyer marks it paid, they can leave feed-back.

Ebay should but wont do anything about it so make sure your response is a "good one"
