I'd be pretty happy with that. Nice first sub.

  • I am very upset with my results. The best card out of the whole group that I sent in by far was the Clemente. How in the hell did it get the lowest grade a 6?? Blows my mind away!!! Yes I will sell the Clemente no problem. I am pissed but nothing I can do.

    Hi Josh...see my emails.

    Jeff
  • I bet the Clemente has a wrinkle in the paper you overlooked. They are common in older cards and sometimes very hard to spot.
  • Yea I am sure you are right. It is weird though I have had those cards for over 20 years and just now got back in the hobby. I looked over them each very closely and by far no comparison the Clemente to me looked as good as it gets.... I guess there is something wrong with it.. any ideas on how to check or what do do to see where I missed?

i have a standing lamp big lighted giant loop from office depot, they show everything youcan miss, you can use the little jewler loops too, they are worthless to me, if you're old the big loop is the way to go lol

Often times it is some sort of print defect like ink run or splotch that will bring a card down like that.

My 61 Mantle is so sharp..seriously looks like a 9 and is in a 6 holder because of fish eyes on the thin black border.
  • That really stinks, you get yours fast and I'm still waiting for my 06/26 submission.
