  Really nice coin, but you know once you go foreign there's no turning back.... As there's just too much nice stuff out there at chump change compared to USA coinage.
  
  I'm very tempted by this spectacular 1855 Germany Frankfurt 2 Gulden PCGS MS67 that Evan Gale at www.aprci.com has, but not sure how it would fit my collecting goals?

  Thanks Seattle Slammer... I know! I'm just amazed at the beauty of some of the German patterns and their cost compared to the US counterparts... maybe in another lifetime?

  Lee, Great looking Proof Pattern! Odd but without surfing the web and running across these, I have never seen one in any coin shop while traveling through Europe.

  here is Wilhelm II in his later years, sans bird head helmet. i love this coin!

  But I know when I look at a coin for a couple of weeks and DON'T pull the trigger, it usually means I'm about to run into something that I like even more, and I'm usually happy I chose to cool my jets. As you know, when a coin speaks to you, it speaks to you loudly!

  The problem I have is I love all kinds of coins...so usually several coins speak loudly to me at once...it's so hard to choose!
