1/4ly submission time

How long does it typically take for PCGS to grade the free quarterly submissions?

Also is it really worth it? For the price of sending and getting the 1 1/4ly back, you pretty much could put that coin in with another batch for about the same cost.

I think the idea, is that you submit other coins at the same time, so that it's really a free submission for you, b/c you're already paying to ship a package out there and back for another submission that you're paying for.

If you ship w/ other submissions you save on shipping out. But shipping back is extra because each submission will ship by themselves.

What is the current 1/4 anyway?

Isn't it coins with edge varieties.... i.e. Capped Bust 1/2's, Prezzy Bucks, Etc.

Would this include reeded edge half dollars?

Any US coin with letters on the rim...
Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

When I read the rules, I read it to mean it has to be submitted seperately. I sent two at the same time, both in different packages. I'll check with them and see if it can be included in the pack with the others. But the return shipping is the thing.

BTW: It just got posted - 1808 half, G04!

Nope. You can package multiple submissions, including the quarterly, within 1 larger package. Just each submission should be separate and will get sent back separately.
I wish they sent submissions that finish the same day or within 24hours back together to save multiple trips to PO and money.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
