Help with Franklin Bugs Bunny Submission PICS ADDED
I am going to send in 3 1955 Franklins for submission to PCGS. Can someone help me out with directions on how to do this?
Does PCGS give the Bugs Bunny title, automatically or do I have to submit asking them to do this?
Thanks for your help.

This statement has been corrected by Mr. Russ. Evidently PCGS does accept and grade these under the FS-401 (Fivaz-Stanton) Number. I'll leave the original statement just to remind me that I don't know anywhere near enough about this hobby!

They will under variety attribution using the CPG number. It's FS-401.

It looks like they do.

It looks like I can submit under their error service and get it attributed that way.

That will cost you $40 per coin. It would be cheaper to use economy at $18, plus $15 for variety service.

So I pay for the economy service then another $15 for the Variety. So $33 a coin vs. $40.
Is that correct Russ?
Edited to add: Error service at $40 has no minimum submission, so if you can't come up with five coins that would be the route to go. But, also in that case make sure to note it under the variety section.

<< <i>Here is 1 of mine
That's a purdy one!!
I've got a few, two have toned quite nicely on both sides, simply from age, some have been in 2X2s for 15-20 years now. One is orange(carrot orange?) and another is purple. I used to pick them up many years ago at very cheap prices, some of the dealers hadn't bothered to attribute them. I've probably got more than a dozen but only a few would be worth submitting due to condition and I wonder about the toned ones. Worried that they might get BB'd for AT, even though they aren't.
They have always been one of my favorite errors/varieties.

Don't get the variety attribution. It isn't worth the $15. Just label it on the holder yourself.
I was thinking that direction myself when I figured out it would be 33 dollars a coin to attribute. I might spend it though, I pulled these coins out of a roll that was in my grandpas collection that I have been going through. So I might pay for the variety just because they were in my grandpas collection.
I am undecided. Anyone care to talk me into or out of it?
Thanks.

If they will grade MS65FBL or better, spend it. If not, don't.

This one is quite valuable as an MS66:

I was going to say just that. I have watched some sales of Bugs Bunny Frankies in the pat and it would not be worth the amount it would cost to slab and attribute if they grade any lower than MS65. I have seen PCGS MS64's sell for less than $40.
I am going home right now, to try to get some pictures of my Franklins. I will post them here, and you guys can tell me what you think.

Does anyone out there feel like piggybacking these onto a submission that you may have for me?
Thanks,
Brian
shoot it raw with a slr camera and opinions on grade may be better
