Who's going to auction the 756 Ball ?

Any guesses as to who will auction off the Bonds 756 Ball ?
Anyone want to take a guess of how much it could bring ?

Steiner says they're trying to acwuire it on espn and says it may go for $250,000-$350,000. He then goes on to give a list of reasons why the ball really won't be worth that much.

I would imagine Steiner would get it, given Mastro's recent problems. Though the offer to sell it on eBay would get a butt-load of looks. eBay would give you a ton of promotion for it and for them.

250K sounds legit, but as mentioned in another thread... decline decline decline. Cause A-Rod is a comin'. Given Bonds arrogance, and ability to buy, I cant imagine that he wouldnt buy it himself???

last nite Bonds said he wasnt done - maybe with the giants - put him in the AL - DH for awhile - go over the 800 mark himself - I put the ball in the 750,000 range - I am not sold on Arod breaking the record...

This is just my opinion, but if I were the lucky fellow that caught it, I'd offer it to Barry first for $1million. He could pay that, and never blink. If he were to turn it down, I'd see if there were any others looking to pay that. If not, I'd lock it away in a bank security vault. It would weigh on Bond's mind sooner or later and his ego would force him into wanting to pay for that piece of his career.

It would be ironic if Upper Deck bought it and cut it up into 756 pieces.

I think it would be cool to catch it and then go on ESPN and all and just kinda act like it was a foul ball or something and just be like yeah, I doubt I would sell it, I bought a little baseball holder for it and put it on my dressor. It is kinda cool.

Cut it up into 755 and market it as a tribute to Hank.
