Listen to Brian, brother. Red doesn't fit in "The Slattery Collection". My set has to have a certain look. The hunt goes on.

jmski52....thank you brother. I have been collecting since 1964 and I don't think I have enjoyed any part of it as much as this. Brian Wagner has to be given all the credit though. What started out as a business relationship has developed into a friendship.

I will be meeting up with Brian on Wednesday and he is going to show me the business from his side of the table and we will be going to the auctions together. A couple of dinners with some of the other brothers are in store and he is going to introduce me to other Lincoln collectors. Now that is what collecting is all about.

If you will be at the show, please look me up. I'll be there Wed. afternoon and all day Thurs.

Curly, you must be talking about the Milwaukee show? I don't get out to many shows, too busy right now - but maybe someday.image

Hey, I hope you have a great time!

I'm jealous. You need to get out here to Central California. But wait, we don't have auctions out here. If only I were retired like you Jack.image

You got that right Bro. Just make sure that the two of you leave something for us little guys. The MPL's are high enough without you 2 moneybags driving them up.......lol just kidding, enjoy the show.

HOLY CRAP! Screw red coins and registry rankings! I doubt any other set at any level even comes close in eye appeal.

I just took a peak at Curly's MPL collection. All I can say is "Curly's Centavo's Es La Mas Fina En Toto El Mundo" and "Holy Crap". What fun he must have had and is still having collecting coins since 1964, especially ones as nice as his MPL collection.

    Way to go Curlyimage

All you brothers are very kind. I'm very proud of this set. Even though it belongs to me, it's existance is due to the vey capable eye of Brian Wagner.

robec, I do want to meet you. Someday we will and we can talk MPLs. I also hope the chicken is at the show. I hope to get my picture taken with it.

Russ, your post means a lot, thank you. If you are at the ANA, I'll look you up.

SilverBaron, Shamika, GForDriver, and SanctionII, same for you brothers, if you are at the show, stop by Eagle Eye's table. I will be close by.

Thanks again for all the kind words.

Curly and I met up at the Milwaukee show and we had a blast.

Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments about his MPL Registry set. He is having alot of these coins trueviewed except for the "OGH" ones, so check the set out again for the updated pics.

Thank all of you brothers for the very nice compliments. As Brian as stated, some of them are away being TruViewed right now. I am anxious for the results.
