Folks, Russ, just like everyone else is human.
I cringe every time someone is put on a pedistal & told how great this person is.
I bought a Frankie from Russ that looked (IMO) nothing like the coin in hand.
Yes, some will argue that it was the lighting, but if I have to view the coin in special lighting just to get the same colors to come out, then that's not the way the coin really looks (again JMO).
I could go on about monitor calibration, 5K lights, diffused lighting vs. direct, blah blah blah......
Could I have asked to return the coin? Yes.
Would Russ have refunded my money? I'm sure he would have.
I'm not saying I did not like the coin, or that Russ intentionally did something wrong, just that the pictures I saw did not reflect what the coin really looked like.
Maybe I got the only coin that did not image well?
