    Way to go Eric!

You're really getting the hang of this cherrypicking thing. image
    When in doubt, don't.

these are still out there and can be found with some diligent searching. i've found two thus far, the first cost $1 and graded AU58, the second a bit more only because it was in a Club Auction and i told the other grading committee members what it was, thinking that was the proper thing to do and the fairest for the consigner. i ended up being pushed by one other collector and paid $60, but the coin graded as a solid MS65 with four complete steps and the fifth/sixth bridged at pillar four. i also once saw an old green holdered PCGS MS65 that was undesignated----the dealer knew what it was so a cherrypick wasn't possible.

keep looking, they're out there. nice pickup!!!

Great find! And IMO the toughest one to find of the three 1945-P DDR's. Congratulations!

    Suh-wheat!

What do you think the 72 T2 will grade?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    Great find. Congrats.

I have found two of these coins. The first is a circulated specimen that was in a bulk group of silver war nickles I had collected as a kid. The second is a very nice MS piece that was in a Whitman Album of MS 1938-1964 Jeffersons that I bought about one year ago for about $100.00. The 45P DDR nickel in the album is worth more than twice what I paid for the albumimage; and the other coins in the album are also very nice MS toners.
