A bidder with 2 retractions that is bidding on a Martha pr70

I have a 2007-W Martha pr70 for sale on the bay with one day to go and he seems to be the highest bidder. I don't want to have to relist it again and have the price go down.
Is there a reason to be concerned about his 2 bid retractions?
Am I concerned over nothing?

From the information provided, I think you will be OK. You can never be 100% sure though.

Meaning only a little more than 1% of their bids have been retracted. Though there's no way to tell for sure, this person doesn't look like a serial deadbeat, though I can understand the concern on a big ticket item.

BTW, that's a lot of bids in a 30 day period. I'd be more concerned about the volume of bidding than the retractions.

Between 100 and 499, it would appear. Besides, it's only at $1001 right now and I suppose this guy's bids will get blown out eventually.

This is my first post so WTF.

I had a "retraction." that scared me. If you try to fill in the maximun bid with a decimal point and hit the comma key--you have made a big mistake. Mine went from 500 bucks to 50,000 bucks. Had the seller know that, I could have been screwed. I retracted the bid and corrected it and got 1 retraction on my record.

I need a keyboard that I can see.

Well I did the darn same thing. Not once but twice! So I have 2 retractions.

Its just a retraction - backing out before items closes. Much better to have than someone who backs out AFTER item closes.

I don't think I'd worry about that either.

Someone had a PR70 Martha run up over $4500 and it didn't meet the reserve, so I hope that bidder find your auction (then buys my PR70 Abigail but I haven't listed it yet).

He will either get Sniped or bring you the biggest return for your coin.Don't worry it will not solve anything...i mean what are you going to do...cancel your auction because of him? You will be o.k. as a lot of folks are after the PR70's.

I did the same thing sorta--just hit 0 one too many times. But you can call the buyer and ask him to cancel your bid to avoid a retraction. A couple of times I've woke up in the morning to a bidder who made a similar mistake, sent me two or 3 messages asking me to cancel it. I was asleep so I didn't respond. they couldn't sleep with this wrong bid on the books and finally retracted it. What bother's me about retractions is that they don't have many choices on why they retract so they just choose one from the menu and some make the seller look bad... "Seller changed auction" or "Couldn't contact seller"...
