I contacted eBay yesterday regarding a threatening email from a blocked bidder- header and email contents were forwarded. I received an automated reply shortly after:

"Thank you for taking the time to write to eBay's SafeHarbor department.
Reports of threats of bodily harm from our community members are taken
very seriously and we will investigate your report as soon as possible,
usually within 24 hours."

Today, I came home to an email reply from eBay leading off with...

.
.
.

wait for it...

.
.
.

"Thank you for contacting eBay regarding your account. The following information
will help you reset a forgotten password."

I believe we all have some 'fun' happenings with eBay. Here's my favorite. I bined, went to Paypal and paid right away. Then I went to my email to get my paypal receipt. I didn't get a paypal receipt. I got a email from eBay thanking me for changing my password. Then my computer locked up. My eBay account got hijacked and I hadn't logged out of my Paypal account. Two am in the morning, eBay account hijacked and computer locked up. TOTAL PANIC. After it got straightened out I ask on Live Help what I should do if I get hijacked and locked up at the same time. And they said.........I should find a internet cafe open at that time of night and contact them from there. Well, I guess that's one way to contact eBay at 2:00 am in the morning. I was still pretty new to eBay and I honestly thought I would be given a phone nr. to contact.
