This coin is listed for their auction the 25th:

It isn't the Accented Hair variety, so I just called them with a heads up. Talked to a guy name Gar, and he didn't even hesitate. They'll be pulling it from the auction.

bet someone thought they were about to clean-up and pull one over on a bunch of people due to a NGC error.

yeah, good folks. i did the same with them with a PCGS and and ICG coin (both darkside coins). both coins had the wrong demonination listed on the slab, with the former as the wrong year (had 1788 instead of 1888). they pulled 'em right away.

Nope, it's been probably about three years since I sold anything on TT. I decided I didn't like having no control over the auctions. I do my selling on eBay where I have total control.

Actually, it was my coin and I sent it in WITH IT BOLDLY NOTED on their sheet that the coin WAS NOT Accented Hair. I just noticed the coin this afternoon on their site and was going to call them tomorrow to have them get it straightened out (had to take my daughter to a swimmeet this evening). Jeez, it makes you wonder if they can read English.

Edited to add: Here's the email I just sent Teletrade:

Dear Teletrade,

I am the consignor for lot 1444, NGC PR67CAMEO 1964 KENNEDY. When I consigned it to you I NOTED BOLDLY ON THE SUBMISSION SHEET that the coin IS NOT an Accented Hair Kennedy. YOU NEED TO LIST THAT THE COIN IS IN AN ERROR SLAB.

I'd guess that the coin was checked in by receiving, and your note didn't get past that point. The cataloguer may not have even seen it.
