No offense intended but twenty coins at $14 per coin for grading fees equals $280. It was cheaper just to pay Mitch $199.95 for one already graded and keep my coins raw.

True in hindsight, but if he had gotten 5 or more 70's...........................
I applaud the effort, always better when it's yours...IMHO, kinda like the superbowl, sure you could just watch it on tv, but It's better to be there>>>
Endzone, did you pre screen the Eagles or just send them in unscreened?

<< <i>Pop for 2007-W in PCGS MS70 up to 343 so far out of 5637 coins graded! >>
Where are you getting this? Even when I log on to the PCGS site and type the coin number for "Population Report for PCGS Number: 150446" I still only get the pop of 3 from last week.

The "population reports are only updated once per week at the beginning of the week. If you want to know the most accurate total population of a coin, you have to check out the Registry sets (EXAMPLE: Check out Mel's Set and you will notice that for 2007-W there have been graded 5293 coins in MS69 with 343 higher). Add the 5293 and the 343 figure togather then add the lone MS67 that had been graded, that is were I got the toatal of 5637 coins.
So based on those figures, roughly 1 in 7 - 2007 W ASE are getting a 70 grade. That's a lot, which means I didn't do so great. Oh well, maybe next time.

however, I like to gamble once in a while.
I'm happy with one MS70. The prices on these
are going upwards of 3 hundred now.
I could have bought from Mitch at 199.99 per,
but I bought 10 others for 150 per.

I had a batch of 35 and sent in 20
which looked the best.
I sent the coins in, before PCGS had
said that they would be grading the
W Silver Eagles a 70, if they warranted that grade.
So I was thinking all along I would be getting
69's at best, before the news hit.
I am somewhat pleased.
Sam...
100 each 2007-W unc
10 each 2006-W unc
10 each 2006-W proof
They were sent in on bulk submisson. The 2007's will get the first strike designation.
