I have five graded at MS65 and I aint selling Jack! In fact I'm looking for five double struck Adams to accompany them... I think there will be an error with each president and I want five of each. I'm hoping the next one comes stamped on platinum planchets by mistake.
Error coins are just like other coins. All coins can go up or down in value. If you make a good purchase which you have thoroughly researched, you increase your odds of making a wise purchase. It is probably best to buy encapsulated coins ( pcgs, ngc, anacs, icg) to make sure you have some asurance that the error you think you are getting is the one you bought. Raw coins are risky. IF you like errrors there are many penny errors which can be had cheaply. the higher the denomination, the more the error costs generally. Dollar errors are the most expensive. The rarer the error the more money you will pay. Right now the dollar errors seem to be in high supply, and in my opinion will probaby not increase much in value. But make your own determination after reading some more.
