I'm having QDB withdrawal-- Dave's Notes has not been updated in a month, and where is the Numismat

I don't know about you, but I continually check the Stack's site to see what numismatic goodies QDB is offering. I usually like to read his Dave's Notes article, but unfortunately, it has not been updated since May 23rd. Does anyone know if QDB is on vacation or something? I am sure he probably writes while on the beach, because no one can produce the amount of numismatic writing that he does. Also, I am having Numismatic Sun withdrawals. Does anyone know when the next issue will be produced? I'm on the verge of working myself up into a frothy frenzy just thinking about this.

Solution to QDB withdrawl. - read one of his books over again that you haven't read in a very long time, it will bring back pleasant memories and bide you over until the next new one comes out.

Maybe it's time to work on a library of old Bowers and Merena/Ruddy auction catalogs and Rare Coin Reviews?

That's not a bad idea. I would love to finish More Adventures in Rare Coins.

I do not believe that education and entertainment are part of the mission of the new Stack's, and I am not surprised, as these were not the mission of legacy Stack's either.
  • I've been rather disappointed lately with the quality of his weekly article in Coin World. They just haven't seemed up to his usual standard.
