189 cards, 23 10's, here's the highlights.

By the way, for those of you that bought cards, they showed up today, so they'll be going out this week. Most are very low pop, or very tough to get 10's on (Bettis 9 is pop 38 for example) Roaf is pop 4, Allen pop 2, Mawae pop 2, Randle pop 13, Marvin pop 38. These guys more than paid for the other 180+ cards I submitted, which is always nice. image

    For some reason, the football card gods are seeing to it that I do not get a PSA 9 Rod Smith Ultra rookie. I won one on eBay about a year and a half ago. I think the price was like $25 or so. Anyway, the guy never sent it. Apparently he thought he set the BIN too low because he sold it a month or so later.

    Flash forward to a couple weeks ago when I won this one for $14.38:

    The seller told me it was shipped out on May 28th. Still waiting... It's uncanny that this would happen twice. I'm starting to hate Rod Smith. LOL.

    I saw that you won that Rod Smith, I'm pretty sure I put a bid in on that one but I was cheap and didn't bid again. Now I'm stuck with a crappy 7 I just got back from PSA...until another 9 or a 10 pops up. Hope it shows up for you.

    Thanks for the compliments. The Larry Allen is sweet. I bought it raw, got it graded and got lucky. image I've had offers for higher than the PSA 10 Roaf and Marvin Harrison, which somewhat suprised me, but not really I guess. Lock HOF'er, tough card and very low pop. Certainly three good traits. image

    I think the Larry Allen 10 is a pop 2 or 3 right? That's why the offers are so high for it. As of right now, it's worth more than a Harrison 10. I still can't believe what a bargain you got that one for either!

    I couldn't find it either. I found one on sportlots and the other two locally. I have one more to submit on my next sub, so I may have an 8 or a 9 available.

    I've got a Mawae Bowman rookie at PSA now. If it aint a 10, then there's no such thing. It's SGC 100ish. It will be for sale when the sub pops.

    Mawae is a nice player but IMO not a HOF one...Its also tough for Centers to make the HOF. Comparing his credentials:

    Kevin Mawae- 13 Seasons, 6 Pro Bowls, 3-time 1st Team All-Pro, never played in a Super Bowl

    Dermontti Dawson- 13 seasons, 7 Pro Bowls, 6-time 1st Team All-Pro, Played in 1 Super Bowl (Lost to Cowboys)...He's not in the HOF yet

    Centers IN the HOF?? There are only 6 from the Pro Bowl (1951-present era)...They average 14 seasons, 9 Pro Bowls, 6.5 1st Team All-Pros, and each played in at least one Super Bowl.

    Mawae is probably the strongest ACTIVE Center HOF candidate with Olin Kreutz a close 2nd...But unless Mawae can reclaim his Pre-2005 form (2004 was last Pro Bowl) with the Titans I don't see him ever making further than maybe a nominee..
