    Forgot to add this....

I am taking offers. PM me or email me at gonblott@aol.com for any questions or if you want more scans please let me know.

My scanner isn't the greatest and if u see white specs its just dust. Any bigs marks or scratches are on the scanner/cases and not the cards.

The background on the Willie Beecher card is most unusual.

    What you mean?

    What I mean.....

is that it is very rare to see a nature scene resplendent with lake, canoes, a boathouse, forested hills, etc. as the backdrop on a sportscard, especially a boxing card.

It does look cool, Gonblott. Practical too, I suppose; after working up a sweat in the ring he can go for a nice dip in the mountainside lake to cool down.

Those T220s are becoming fairly popular at the moment I think--though I am no expert on boxing cards. Good luck with the sale.

    Thanks for the comment.

I love the boxing stuff, but now I have to sell some cards, because of my recent purchases on eBay. I got the credit card bill today and my wife freaked out.

Most of the bill was Jose Reyes cards and some 1968 vintage.

I will keep the major boxing cards like Jackson, Murphy, etc for my collection.

Also, just to clarify this, the Mantle is a HIGH 8. The top right corner is sharp and has nothing wrong with it. The plastic sleeve on the PSA case has some markings on it and unfortunately it was picked up by the scanner, making the top right corner looking "weird".

Also, the light shade of white on Mantle's neck isn't on the card, the scanner might have picked up the plastic sleeve again.

If paypal didn't have fees I would use it but it all adds up in the end.

Hi, i'm a newbie in the world of Vintage Boxing, and was wondering if there is a site for book-value (something similar to Beckett Hockey for instance) ?
i purchased a couple cards for my son and was wondering if there were worth a lot...or almost nothing
    - T218 mecca champions of Bert Keyes
    - 1920 Phillips Cigarette card of Sammy Mandell
I realize it all depends on the quality of the cards, but still curious to find out is there is such a service online for these vintage cards
    thx

the keyes is worth about 5-15 dollars in good to ex+ condition. It could be worth more if it were higher grade.
