WHat I did is this:

I took the ASE and put in half in the vice and half sticking out. I then pounded down one side with the hammer. I then put the 90-degree-angle bent ASE in completely in the vice and smushed it togther untill it was completely folded over. I then repeated the same process for the second fold

Kinda cool looking -- seems to open up a whole lot of creative opportunities. Is the .999 fine silver a lot more malleable than a 90% alloy?

i'm no expert but that looks like mechanical doubling along with some possible post mint damage,i love posts that allow me to test my grading skills,even though i think i nailed this ....anybody else have anything to share................
