Anyone know if this Morgan is listed as a VAM

I got a new camera a Panasonic DMC-FZ8 and was taking pics of my coins. This 1884-CC Morgan has what looks like die cracks
on the reverse. I never noticed it before. It is most pronounced in the word States "tates". There are finer lines going through
the top of the right wing "hard to see in this pic" and in the tops of some letters in Americia, "meri" Any insight is appreciated.

    Great photos!

Die cracks are extremely common on Morgans and were a normal, predictable part of the life cycle of the dies. As such, they do not by themselves -- except in very extreme cases -- result in a VAM designation. This coin falls into the first category... it's just a pretty Morgan with some normal die cracking between the letters.
    When in doubt, don't.

Thanks Dennis now I know. I took the picture inside in front of a window. I need to get some lights now.
Just trying to decide what to buy.

It is a VAM and I could tell you which one if I go through my notes (based on the cracks). The cracks help uniquely identify the reverse die and even the die pair in some cases, but they do not define a new variety themselves. The VAM associated with this is very common and bears no premium.
