    I'm doing ebay this week...

I have to justify my purchases either:

    1) from Civitas (thanks for not telling anyone about that liteside coin I bough Josh image)
    2) from NEN (see I knew NEN was a proper noun, adjective and verb all rolled into one)
    or
    3) a future purchase for a MACBOOK (a white one to match my iPod of course)

    For any who are interested:

This one sits in an old green PCGS MS-67 slab and believe it or not is a double dupe--I have one in my album AND another in an NGC slab. Fairly common in high grade, but this is a sweet little coin.
    image

I'm pretty sure I bought this one from someone here (record-keeping is not my strong suit...see I 'need' a Mac!). I love the coin, but after buying and selling a couple Hamburgs I must confess I am never going to go for a German set-- unless there is a griffin on it. I'd rather redeploy the money for something a little more 'core' for me. It's in an NGC MS-65 slab.
    image

I bought this coin from Clark Smith actually. Silver...who knew??? I didn't know too much to write about it, so comments or 'questions' are always welcome. Too bad there aren't any cute little birds flying overhead.
    image

This is one from Tokyo. Although I like the Japanese coins, I am trying to avoid the commemoratives. I like individual ones, but the OC part of me would then want them all...and I just don't like all the Olympic ones, which come in base metal, silver and gold. It would be alot of money for something I don't like that much. So with a few exceptions I'm dumping most of these. I wonder if I should have slabbed it before selling? Oh well..too late now image.
    image

and lastly a more humble coin..Again, likely a boardmember sold it to me and I don't remember who image. I like the lions, but that is just too much for me to go for as another 'collection'.
    image

Thanks for looking and feel free to bid high, bid often and bid against each other! Let's face it the money for choices 1 and 2 is already spent so really you're just supporting the friendly dealers of the hobby image. If I get the Macbook, it'll only be the USMint that suffers when I don't buy the 2007 proof buffalo imageimageimage.

For Sale: the prices listed include shipping within the US, and payment by Paypal.

1897 Sweden 2 Kroner: nice half-dollar sized silver coin, with a slight PL look to it. raw, but should grade MS63-64 in my opinion $40.00

    image

this one makes me kinda' cry. nice looking 1887 GB Double Florin. Paid MS money for it, only to find that there is a very mild 'wipe' in the obverse fields, to the right of Vicky. still a very nice looking florin, perfect if you're looking for one and don't need a slabbed example. $ 49.00

    image

1921 GB half-penny. cool streaky tone that the GB pennies tend to get, slabbed by ICG $10.00

    image

1914D German Mark, NGC MS67 in a first generation slab $45.00

    thanks!

Reserve coins via PM. Please be sure to include my inventory numbers in your requests, because this stuff is at my antique mall booth.

Trades will be considered, so if I have something you want, don't hesitate to offer a trade. (Either world or US, preferably of pre-1950 single coins in the $10-50+ range).

Sorry there is no time to image these. Naturally they come with a full return if you are unsatisfied for any reason.

PM me if interest - check or money order (I don't use paypal).

    I have two Bahama Islands Proof Sets - 1972 & 1974.

Coins are still intact in in the heat-sealed plastic and include all the paperwork (Directions, Certificate of Authenticity, Proof Set Information, and Franklin Mint Letter). The directions mention vinyl gloves, but they are not in here. Red cases are in excellent shape, and have the cardboard sleeve/cover thing in great shape.

    Each 9-coin set includes:

    $5.00 - .925 Silver (1.2527oz)
    $2.00 - .925 Silver (.8863 oz)
    $1.00 - .800 Silver (.4666 oz)
    $0.50 - .800 Silver (.2667 oz)
    Total Silver Content: 2.8723oz

    .25 - nickel
    .15 - copper-nickel
    .10 - copper-nickel
    .05 - copper-nickel
    .01 - Brass

Both sets together = 5.7446oz of silver at today's close of $13.65 an oz, that's $78.41 in silver alone.

Both shipped & insured in the US below melt - $75.00

I am so close to completing my collection of circulation issue coins for Yugoslavia, down to only 3 holes to be filled.

One hole is the 1932 50 dinara (Belgrade issue), which will be close to a 3-figure purchase for me later this summer.

The other 2 holes are modern minors, both with mintages in the millions, and catalog values of less than $1 each. They are the 10 para pieces from 1997 & 1998. I have looked high & low for these on eBay, delCampe, and other on-line sites, but to no avail.

So, I am turning to a few message boards of fellow collectors, hoping beyond hope that maybe someone, somewhere, has these available. In my desperation to fill these holes, I am offering US$10.00 each for them.

If you have either or both of these coins, send me a message, and let's make a deal!!
