Frankiepeople... questions about this "Bugs Bunny" variety...

Does it occur for more than one date? I notice Redbook doesn't list the variety. Would PCGS put it on a label? Does it command much of a premium?

I just bought two or three pieces, on a lark.

I have a 1951 and a 1954 Bugs Bunny Franklins. Both in ANACS plastic. I have seen a
Bugs Bunny in 1956 but do not own one.

I have a box of the more common ones slabbed by Anacs image
  • Here's a 54 that I own. ANACS is the only one who certifies dates other then the 1955. I know that there are some 1951's out there as well. If you are looking, let me know and I'll hook you up.

PCGS will designate other dates as well (1951,54,56) if you submit for FS401 variety.

Did they just start doing that? Anyone have a pic of a PCGS BB other than '55?

Rob, here's my '51 - Greg sent him off to ANACS for me last year.

I did not know that! I have NEVER seen an "off date" bugs bunny in a PCGS holder, but ONLY in ANACS holders.

Mine are both 1955. An AU++/UNC slider with pretty gunmetal tone and a white MS63-ish BU.

They started when they began doing all Fivas-Stantons (CPG's). Not sure exactly when that was.
