This would be a great starter kit for my daughter (She is 10, will be 11 in July) and has an interest in coins (Or I like to think so, she does have her own collection and we fill binders together).
Congrats on 20,000!!! That's quite impressive! Thanks for the chance too!

What a generous offer! Thanks. This is the only coin I ever had stolen by a customer who took advantage of my good faith effort to satisfy, after he claimed the coin was bent. I gave him an immediate full refund, including shipping and handling, then posted another payment to him of $50 to compensate him for the trouble of returning the coin. He never did return the coin; however, I have maintained MY integrity. Here's to hoping this never happens to you. sdbranum
That's a shame your half dime was stolen. The coin is the LM12/V2 die marraige, a late die state coin as well. The obverse die (#5) was only used three times and this marriage was the first. It started life with a perfectly normal looking 8 in the date. The rather large die chip forms during the minting of the marriage. So the LM12 is the only marriage where obverse die #5 can possibly be found with the 8 in pristine condition. That being said, I really like how the screwed up 8 looks on this die. It's very dramatic. The chip in the 8 is the instant pick up point for the obverse die. For the reverse die the large bulge in the horizontal lines (azures) of the shield is the instant giveaway for reverse die X. This reverse die later went on to strike the 1833 LM8/V2 marriage where it has a catastrophic failure culminating in one of the largest cuds in the entire capped bust half dime series. The cud begins at the I in UNITED (I1) and goes all the way around to the A in STATES (A1).

I am probably breaking the rules here by not posting an image of a half dime, but please enter my name in your most generous 20,000 post giveaway. In the unlikely event that I should win, I am sure that between us we can select a suitable YN to receive the booty.
Here's a link to a nice half dime that I cherried at the 1999 FUN Show, which later made its way to Russ Logan's collection, and eventually to a Tennessee collection:
