Dimaggio's rookie is either the '36 WWG or the '35 Zeenut, depending on how you feel about minor league cards.

The Cobb and the Ruth are the most likely to appreciate, the cards post war the most likely to depreciate, if that is a factor. Especially the ones from '60 on.

I think the Aaron Rookie, or the Clemente.

Do you think the 1938 Dimaggio will depreciate?

To me, it's an easy no brainer: Bart Starr RC in PSA 8.

I'd gladly pay $1250 for one right now! It's currently more like $2000.

I'd rather have raw NRMT/MT 1974, 1975, and 1976 Topps sets. Yes, I know they're not on your list but that's honestly what I'd get with that kind of money. Any left would go towards either my Ultra Gold Medallion set run or 1986-1995 Fleer/Ultra insert set project.

Well I am building a 1955 Topps set in PSA 6, so I would say the Clemente. Aside from that, the Babe Ruth would be a good choice.
  • 1954 Aaron. 5-10 years from now more people will appreciate how great Aaron really was.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

I guess I'm alone on this one - I would rather have the 1951 Bowman PSA 1 Mickey Mantle.

I'd take the 1954 Topps Hank Aaron PSA 6. Oddly enough, I really enjoy the bright orange background.

    Mantle, Cobb, Berra

You can't go wrong with a Mantle (gotta be a high end centered 8)
  • The 1957 Bart Starr PSA 8

I have to, I'm from Wisconsin, I'd get shot if I "wanted" anything else, lol. Plus I have a '60 Mantle in better cond.
Well it's been over 15 years, but I'm back in the card game!!! Man it feels good.
    Peace.
