First dug silver of the year.

Spent some time in the park this afternoon. I thought I was going to be totally skunked until I dug a clad quarter. I was heading back to the car when I got a decent signal at 4 inches. I wasn't expecting much but when I flipped the plug out popped a 1943 Washington quarter.

The 1946 is the one I got from the CoinStar last month and the 1942 my son got in his change from the Deli on Statin Island a few weeks ago.

    Collect raw morgans, walkers, mercs, SLQ, barber q. Looking at getting into earlier date coins pre 1900s.

    Two silver quarters from circulation (incl. coinstar) is lucky for one family in such a short time as well!
