I've had no power for a few days

I live in New York (not the city, but the state)--and my region got HAMMERED by the huge thunderstorms that came through Wednesday. A funnel cloud hit the base of my street (about 300 yards away), and there were at least 3 other funnel clouds that were spotted in the town. Tree's down everywhere, roads all screwed up. Stuff like this--

Anyway--everything was cancelled for the next two days. Schools closed, stores closed, etc. I had lost power when the tornado hit the base of my street, so I really couldn't do much at home. I decided to spend the day at one of my favorite coin shops (who I shall not disclose). I picked up a bunch of crusty barbers (which will be on the BS&T forum later) and some Morgans. I was exceptionally happy with this purchase. I plan to resell it (probably on ebay), since I don't really have a place for it right now, but the price was certainly right at $450. It's an ANACS MS64.

Big storms hit here regularly. Once a funnel cloud reaches the ground it's called a tornado. We've not had any here this year, but the five in the past four years make up for this year's failure. We have one spot about 10 miles from me that was directly hit by three of the five tornados. Blows the theory out of the water that says a single place won't be hit by tornados twice.

    Westchester.

We had a tornado hit about 5 miles away last year, but that was the first one in the area for many decades.
