I got to see that 1914-D in person when it was raw. My offer of a British Farthing in the same grade and from the same year as trade still stands!image

I remember it passing from hand to hand between several Darksiders in a smoky hotel room.

Joe (Mongoose) looked at it the longest, and pronounced it the real McCoy.

Michael, they didn't make a 1914-D British farthing. Unless there was a mint in Dorset or Doncaster.

But I'll tell ya what. Amend that offer to a 1714 Queen Anne farthing in the same grade and you've got about equal value, I reckon. Toss in a little extra to cover my slab fees, and you have yourself a deal. I won't even ask for a D mintmark.
