I know you were kidding- just a little commentary on my play. I actually will see a lot of flops for a small raise with stuff like 9T suited and 68 suited, because I know if I flop big then I'm gonna win a nice pot. I also try to pick up blinds from late positionwhen it gets to the 100/200 level.

another poker tip- try not to put too much in preflop with AQ.

  • stownstown Posts: 11,321 ✭✭✭
Just as I type that, Lee goes all in preflop with Ks v AQ

No, JJ. I knew I had the one guy beat, so I raised enough that I could let it go if the other guy came over the top.

It just amazes me how time after time Lee finishes in the money. As a crappy poker player, I can appreciate the patience it takes to do that

Your shooting for #2 Lee (my pick), keep it up

Made a move with KQs in the small blind and Big blind had QQ. Looks like jdip guessed 135 and was the closest. PM me your info and I'll get some junk out to you.

thanks Lee...got the OPC stuff today - I especially enjoyed the '74 Reggie...this may be the start to my OPC collection - these are the first OPC cards I've owned.
  • CDsNutsCDsNuts Posts: 10,092
No problem. Don't get to excited about the Reggie though- it looks like a lock for PSA 9 until you see the surface wrinkle on the bottom left. Still a nice looking card though. The 87 OPC set isn't in the greatest condition, but it's still a set. I thought you would enjoy the Schilling as a Sox fan. Thanks for joining in the fun.

yes, the Schilling is cool, too....I didn't look at the Reggie very closely, but figured there had to be a catch somewhere, otherwise you probably wouldn't have given it away for free - but you're right, it is a nice looking card

    thanks again.
  • CDsNutsCDsNuts Posts: 10,092
Yeah, without that crease it's a $100 card easy, maybe $200-$300. Freakin OPC and their surface wrinkles......
