Is this Buffalo a type 1 or 2?

How do you determine if a 1913 Buffalo is a type 1 or Type 2 ?

Type 1.

The Buffalo is standing on the edge of a hill on the type 1 coin. Flat ground on a type 2.

type 1 has a mound under the buffalo

type 2 has a straight line under the buffalo

Based on Washington dollar logic, I'd say:

Type 1 Buffalo - animal is facing left and right-side up ;
Type 2 Buffalo - animal is facing right and upside down.

Yours is a type 1 struck at the Denver Mint during March or April 1913.

And....it looks very original...it has a nice strike, lots of detail still visible...probably close to EF grade if the obverse has a similar look...very nice Buffalo....(wanna sell it?)
