    Wow, that dime is a great example of the "what were they thinking" phenomenon.

    That could make a fun theme for a collection, as long as you weren't the one that paid the submission fees. image

  • Some people believe they have to have every coin slabbed.

    Some people believe all grading services are the same, and they believe all must be somewhat honest and reputable or else they wouldn't have such cool holders and still be in business.

    Some people refuse to spend $20 for a price guide but will spend thousands of dollars on coins.

    Some people believe that all old coins are valuable and that even if they go wrong on a few purchases, there is no way they can lose if they just buy everything in site.

    Some people are so eager to get started they make dumb, irresponsible decisions.
