I wonder how long these have been in the 2x2's

Check out the prices on them. The one on the upper left looks to have a bade case of PVC.

    Stored in a damp environment. Staples are rusted and the paper is warped. 2x2's are good for coins as long as they're stored properly.

    well since they're maked $2.65 a piece I'd think at least the 60's.

    Most 2x2's this old do have rusted staples. I bought a 1917D Type 1 SLQ in XF in an old 2x2, and the plastic was all clouded and the staples were rusty. I got a heck of a bargain on it.
