The little Mrs. birth year. The obverse is nice, but the luster the pretty subdued. The reverse has luster that won't quit - it does not show up in the diffuse natural light conditions I used to take this shot.

Love this gem 1885-S because the intense orange and hot pink on the obverse are super intense over very flashy mirrored surfaces ... very unusual ... the reverse is not PL however, but it lends authenticity to the toning on the obverse ...
