Ebay blocks Toolhaus

Did a feedback search just now and received this message:

"Error: eBay has blocked access to feedback. Toolhaus is unable to obtain information which is available only to registered eBay users. We're not happy about this. - But try again in an hour, sometimes eBay unblocks us!"

I was signed in and am registered just in case someone reads that part and thinks otherwise.

I've never seen this before using Toolhaus. Wouldn't that be a drag if it's permanent? I'm so sure.

From what I am reading is.........If the user is no longer a registered user, than the information is not available.

It wouldn't matter anyway at that point IMO.....

I see that error when the user isn't NARUed.

Unfortunately, no. Toolhaus does not work on any, valid id, at this hour anyway.

I am a registered member, rec'd the same message , and took it to mean that because Toolhause was not a member, then ebay's feedback would not be available to them - to pass on to us. Seems that leaves open some workaround. What's not so clear is why the TH system works "an hour later" which it does. I assume ebay does not want the negs spotlighted. They always seem to take the short view when attempting to fix their problems - that is, attempting to fix the perceptions, not the problems.

Almost 12 hours later and ebay still has Toolhaus blocked, if anyone cares.....

Toolhaus has been getting blocked more and more by sleaze-bay. It's a damned shame. I use Toolhaus a lot to help me make a decision on whether I will bid with a specific seller or not. If this becomes permanent, I guess I'll only bid with sellers with feedback of 99.9% or better

It didn't work for me about a week ago, but the last time I tried to use it, it worked fine.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it dont. I just tried it and it works at the moment.

Poor Cameron Keifer has a 99.8% feedback nowadays. I still buy from him anytime.

It still works for me even if I'm not logged in but I had to refresh a few times before it unblocked.

I think it is Hit and Miss with Toolhaus nowadays. I think it is an excellent tool for both Buyers and Sellers. I tend to buy more than I sell and any seller less than 99.8% I will use Toolhaus to get a feel for the Seller's true credentials. Some, I steer clear, others it seems alot of negative BS and I feel comfortable making a bid. Ebay is being shortsighted in blocking Toolhaus, IMHO!
