So, I'm not a huge fan of moderns, but I want one of each type for my set...
Solution? Birth year coins that are as FAR off-center as possible. I don't want plain 'ole proofs or high MS examples... so this seemed like a nice solution! Not only that, but it's also a challenge!
Here's my first modern purchase... ever. No picture of the reverse, but there was a return policy.

I guess most of the older folks can collect a birth set that's not qualified, in my books, as a modern
60 years into this hobby and I'm still working on my Lincoln set!
