Is this Coin worth anything?

I am moving and forgot about this coin. I brought it in LA when i was a kid. Is it worth anything?

    Its not a coin, its a silver round. It is worth around $14.

    Yes, the value is based on the fact it contains one ounce of silver.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • I think yours was made in 2005, if it doesn't have a date on it (they started minting them in 2000, and 2000-2004 have dates). It's a bullion art round. If you were a kid in 2005, you sure grew up fast! That's a joke, that's not even very funny, sorry. I always liked these coins, especially since the price of the US mint commemorative silver buffalo dollar is so high--these are an affordable alternative. Usually, they trade for the spot price plus 50 cents to $1.00 premium.
