  Very cool. The eBay image does suggest wear on the high points too, though you can see that is just how the light works on those devices as we can see on Marty's image. Know much about the symbolism of the various devices? And what is that thing that dominates the center of the (presumed) reverse?

  Will have to research the symbolism of the various devices. The "thing on the back is for engraveing the name of the award winner. Both madmarty's and mine were not named.
