I was sorting through my grandmother's wheaties, and found she had pulled two memorial cents out of circulation also. One is a common clip, and the other was this critter. There is no deformity (bending, etc.) to the coin whatsoever, and the reverse looks normal. I PM'ed it to Fred W., then felt silly when he did not respond. I later read his post that he never checks his PM's. So what the heck, here for your amusement:
