Show some worn out coins

Hi All,

I see shots of fantastic coins in GREAT condition all over these forums! "Howsabout" posting some really worn out coins.
This old, dateless Large Cent seems to have had some help along the way. It looks like there are some swirl marks from a long ago buffing job.
Perhaps they used a wire wheel:-)

coinjp, that last pic you posted almost seems like a persons
first attempt at plugging a hole and concealing their effort..

but failed oh so badly.

Both coins purchased at the bank, for face. I gladly gave her $1.50, in beat up state quarters.

I find it amazing she had no idea of their silver content.

After I finish my XF/AU set of... the best I can afford... (some semi-keys, others common dates)
