Picked up this error over the weekend

Picked this up from the dealer I work for over the weekend. Anybody have any idea how much it's worth? Thanks in advance.

Not an expert but I'd say $5 to $8 for the missing clad. Not uncirculated and a
big hit in the rim on the obverse at 12 o'clock. Pretty common.

Thats not a rim bump at 12:00 on the obverse, its a burr of paper from the 2x2. Thanks for the info so far.

  • My guess, based on the fact that you can put it on ebay with 'Washington Error' in the title, would be in the area of $20 to $50. Pretty cool looking coin.
First get the knowledge, then the coins.

I saw a couple of similar pieces on eBay recently, but I can't find them now. You might have better luck if you dig around for them. I was surprised at how little they brought -- something like $20 or less.
  • very cool!
