Would like some info on Copper 43 Lincolns... Thanks

Can anyone tell me the highest price any 1943 copper Lincoln went for?

Can someone list the last 3 or 4 that sold in auction and the price they went for.

Thanks
Ron

I have no idea, but i do know that there was one on ebay a while ago. it started as a buy-it-now at 30,000 then it went off ebay and came back 60,000 then it went to 120,000 (all by the same person) and then it went down but never came back. No one ever bought it. I e-mailed the guy and he said it was not magnetic and it was 100% real.

the guy was probably lying. The '43 copper is one of the few occasions where if it isn't certified you should not even consider buying it.

Someone would have to be out of their mind to spend 60k or anywhere near that on a '43 copper not certified by a respected TPG, especially on ebay. I wouldn't be surprised if a roll turned up on ebay.
Witty sig line currently under construction. Thank you for your patience.

I actually heard a rumor of a small hoard of 12-16 of them being found?
